Job summary

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is hiring for a supervisory role overseeing workforce participants and inmates at ACI sites and in the community. Responsibilities include supervising production, maintaining security, and fostering a safe work environment.

Candidates should have supervision experience, be able to drive state vehicles when needed, and comply with extensive pre-employment requirements, including background checks and a CDL when applicable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state and agency laws and procedures relevant to the assignment.
• Experience with inmate supervision and management.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Inventory controls and search techniques familiarity.
• Ability to lead and supervise diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervises workforce participants and community-based work crews at ACI sites.
• Maintains safety and security of participants and crews through site/vehicle searches.
• Conducts observations and headcounts; oversees production activities in manufacturing centers.
• Coordinates with Regional Operations and Workforce Development Managers to align with production schedules.
• Reviews work output, provides coaching, and conducts performance evaluations.
