Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an experienced welder to lay out, align, and weld fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, and pipe according to blueprints.

The role involves selecting welding methods, planning layouts, and performing welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions using various processes. Safety compliance and certification are required.

Formación

• Experience reading blueprints and metallurgy for layout and weld fits.
• Ability to select welding methods and materials per specs.
• Pass employer tests and certification requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Selects type and size of pipe or related materials per specifications.
• Plans layouts, assembly, and welding using geometry and welding techniques.
• May use various welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW, SMAW).
• Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components in various positions.
• Welds metal components of piping systems, plates, pipes, and structures in multiple positions.
