Qualifikationen

• DL license required.
• 3–5 years journeyman welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret layouts and blueprints.

Aufgaben

• Weld or tack weld parts with appropriate welding equipment.
• Unite pipes from torch to oxygen/fuel gas tanks and manage valves.
• Achieve designated flame temps by adjusting torch gas/air flow.
• Preheat parts for welding or forming as needed.
• Fill holes or correct mistakes in lead pieces.
• Check pieces with straightedge or templates for specs.
• Climb ladders or scaffolds to access work pieces.
• Signal crane operator to lift large items.
• Cut metal using flame or plasma-arc equipment.
• Use hoist or crane to position pieces safely.
• Select weld locations based on type, thickness, area.
• Apply flame or electrodes to straighten/curve/rework.
• Join pieces and add material to form parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
