Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Journeyman Welder to join our industrial maintenance and fabrication crew. You will weld, cut, and assemble metal components per layouts, blueprints, and welding procedures across multiple sectors.

Required 3–5 years of Journeyman experience, Weld Test certification, and a valid DL. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship offered.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level welding experience (3–5 years).
• Valid Welding Test certification and Driver's License (DL).
• Possesses ability to read layouts/blueprints and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld parts using spot gun, electric or gas equipment.
• Join pipes and vessels, adjust flame/pressure for proper heating.
• Preheat and prepare pieces, ensure conformance to specs.
• Inspect parts for defects and measure using templates/straightedge.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and cutting equipment; assist with assembly.
