Qualifications

• Ability to join metal parts per layouts/blueprints/work orders.

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld pieces using spot welder or hand/electric/gas welding equipment.
• Join pipes to tanks and operate valves to control gas/oxygen mixtures.
• Maintain flame temp and adjust gas/air flow to meet specs.
• Preheat pieces for welding and straighten/curve metal as required.
• Check welds with straightedge or templates to ensure specifications.
