McWane Plant & Industrial is seeking a General Worker to join our Job Shop Fabrication and Machining operation. The General Worker will perform a variety of tasks assisting with the operation of the plant and supporting colleagues in servicing, repairing, and adjusting equipment.

Based in Wethersfield, CT and reporting to the Branch Manager, this role requires maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Pay is $21.91 per hour, with a 24‑month wage progression; overtime may be required to meet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of production and mechanical processing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal and team safety in all activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate production machinery or assist machine operators.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.
• Inspect products for conformance to quality standards.
