Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Sales Representative, Industrial in Wichita to maintain and develop customer relationships and drive revenue in an assigned territory. You will collaborate with operations to exceed customer expectations, participate in safety programs, and promote full-service solutions across pumps, tanks, and related equipment.

You will manage pricing, quotes, and relationships, travel within the territory and use CRM systems to document activity and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three to five years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of hydraulics, pumping, irrigation system design, water handling products.
• Three years minimum: experience using automated systems including a CRM system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pricing and quoting to meet profit objectives for the assigned territory.
• Meet or exceed rental sales and revenue objectives in assigned region.
• Execute sales strategies and build customer relationships.
• Create solutions to close irrigation and liquid handling challenges.
• Share innovative products, creating market awareness, closing deals and increasing new/repeat customer business.
• Promote cooperation and good communication with all Branch and Corporate personnel.
• Be an active participant in the Company’s Safety Culture.
