Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Technician to operate and maintain a pre-treatment facility. You will perform lab tests, monitor equipment, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a 12-hour shift schedule including nights and weekends.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience; state licensing is preferred. Candidates must work well in teams and follow safety protocols while maintaining detailed logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of work experience.
• State licensing in water or wastewater treatment preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse, dynamic teams.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain an industrial wastewater pre-treatment facility.
• Conduct laboratory analytical testing for product quality assurance/control.
• Operate, maintain, install and repair equipment (pumps, valves, gates, mixers, chemical feed).
• Monitor control panels, adjust valves and gates.
• Log operating conditions and data daily; report variances to supervisor.
• Work independently with given instructions and direction.
• Wear PPE and maintain a safe, professional work environment.
• Perform other duties to support operations.
