Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Illinois seeks an experienced Scheduler to plan and monitor heavy industrial projects. You will develop schedules for contract packages, forecast construction activities, and coordinate with field teams under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating, with strong earned value understanding and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
• Degree in Construction Science or related field preferred; HS diploma acceptable.
• Certification from AACE Intl or PMI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and forecasts for contract packages to forecast construction activities.
• Update schedules via meetings, coordination interviews and field verification.
• Complete understanding of Earned Value and Project Productivity.
• Monitor and manage change notices and change orders.
• Develop, monitor and update schedules with a progressive project system.
• Assist clients and teammates with constructability logistics and safety.
• Assist in quantity analysis for activities and estimates.
