Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development lead for the Automotive & Manufacturing industry.

You will own LoB pipeline from opportunity to close, engaging with plant and corporate leaders to translate OT challenges into AWS cloud solutions. You will interact with CXO/VP level stakeholders, define strategic plans, and collaborate across teams to drive cloud adoption and industry-specific offerings.

Qualifications

6+ years solving problems with technology in Automotive & Manufacturing industries.
5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
5+ years working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, Cloud Ops).
Experience explaining complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
Experience leading complex, multi-year cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

Drive overall market share and strategy for Automotive and Manufacturing.
Define and execute strategic plan aligned with AWS direction with internal stakeholders.
Size segments, engage key customers/partners including ISVs, system integrators, and GTM plan.
Be the expert for AWS capabilities in Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
Build BD pipeline by engaging with prospects and partners; accelerate deals.
Guide product/solution direction based on customer tech requirements.
Understand Salesforce.com and other internal systems.
Present business reviews to senior management on progress and roadblocks.
Support account teams in complex contract negotiations with legal/compliance.
Manage a high volume of engagements in fast-paced cloud market.
