Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development leader for the Automotive & Manufacturing sector to drive cloud adoption and transformational deals with major industry players.

You’ll engage C-level manufacturing leaders, reimagine factory floors and data strategies, and connect OT pain points to AWS offerings. You will own LoB pipeline across strategic accounts, lead plant and corporate engagements, and translate manufacturing challenges into cloud solutions with AWS

Qualifications

• 6+ years solving problems with technology in Automotive & Manufacturing industries
• 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
• 5+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, Cloud Operations)
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to varied business/technical audiences
• Experience leading complex, multi-year cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

• Drive market share and strategy for Automotive & Manufacturing
• Define and execute strategic plans aligned with AWS direction with multiple internal stakeholders
• Identify and engage key customers and partners including ISVs and system integrators
• Be the expert for AWS capabilities in Manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Build pipeline and accelerate deals with key prospects and partners
• Guide product and solution direction based on customer manufacturing requirements
• Present business reviews to senior management on progress and roadblocks
• Assist account teams in complex contract negotiations with legal/compliance
• Handle high-volume engagements in a fast-paced cloud market
• Travel and engage with teams as needed
