Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and preventive-maintain complex production equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You will read blueprints, operate test tools, and ensure equipment uptime.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs, maintaining HVAC and power distribution, and documenting work orders while following LOTO and GMP protocols. Team-focused role with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Diagnostics-based maintenance on advanced production equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and specs.
• Experience with electrical and PLC troubleshooting is valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair failures in production, manufacturing, and automation equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance per specs and PM schedules.
• Troubleshoot PLC controls; setup and programming experience valued.
• Operate machining tools to produce or repair parts per blueprints.
• Document labor hours, equipment status, and parts used; complete shift reports.
• Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO, Arc Flash, GMP.
