Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and document tasks. The role requires strong troubleshooting, electrical knowledge, and active participation in process improvements.

The candidate will troubleshoot independently, work with hydraulics/pneumatics, and support PM initiatives across the plant. Some familiarity with PLCs and electrical schematics is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years in a maintenance department as a Maintenance Electrician.
• 1–2 years of industrial electronics knowledge.
• Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting capabilities and Millwright capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance actions and document maintenance tasks.
• Participate in process improvements and root cause analyses.
• Troubleshoot equipment and determine failure causes using structured methods.
• Respond to maintenance calls and repair equipment.
• Contribute to PM methodology within the Plant area.
• Assist with rebuilding or redesigning production equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
