Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related STEM discipline with a minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.
- Master's degree in a related STEM discipline with 10+ years of relevant work experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.
- PhD in a related STEM discipline with 8+ years of relevant work experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.
- Experience with Strategic planning.
- Experience in continuous improvement.
- Experience in technical writing.
- Experience interfacing/communicating with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
- Ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance.
- US Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Strategic planning for program delivery and cost milestones.
- Develop and deploy plans that ensure timely availability and utilization of labor, facilities, equipment, and tooling resources.
- Develop and summarize analyses for the acquisition, maintenance and enhancement of capital assets and miscellaneous equipment.
- Plans plant, office, and production facilities and equipment layouts.
- Perform manufacturing simulations.
- Provide finite scheduling to manufacturing cost centers and IPTs.
- Maintain datasets and generate metrics for schedule and cost performance.
- Provide capacity planning and rate tool analyses.
- Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction and inventory control.
