Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to multitask.
• Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to input data accurately and use basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way.
• Answer telephone calls promptly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use.
• Sell welding and safety products and services to customers.
• Process customer orders and input into computer accurately.
• Research products for customer special applications.
• Follow up on orders not processed correctly and remedy the situation.
• Keep sales literature current and organized.
• Load products into customer vehicle.
• Adhere to procedures, policies and safety rules.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
