Job summary

Thermo Electric is seeking an experienced technical sales professional to sell engineered products and solutions to industrial customers from its West Chester, PA facility. The role emphasizes understanding technical applications, communicating with engineers, and turning opportunities into long-term business.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical sales, experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role, and the ability to translate customer needs into solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful technical sales experience.
• Experience as Sales Engineer or similar role preferred.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into solutions.
• Travel approximately 7–10 times per year.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand relationships with strategic accounts.
• Meet with customers to understand applications, requirements and business needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to develop solutions.
• Communicate technical capabilities to engineering, purchasing and commercial audiences.
• Identify and pursue new applications, customers and market opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and support contract discussions.
• Manage relationships and sustain long-term account development.
• Maintain an active opportunity pipeline and accurate forecasts in CRM.
• Represent Thermo Electric at trade shows and customer meetings.
