Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive growth of industrial software and automation solutions in the United States. You will manage direct sales, target accounts, and enable the sales team to expand software adoption that improves productivity, visibility, and operational performance.

You will translate technical capabilities into business value, collaborate with field sales, channel partners, and product management, and participate in CRM-driven opportunity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, applications engineering, or technical consulting.
• Experience selling industrial software, automation software, digital solutions, or related technical offerings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth for industrial software and automation solutions across assigned territory and target accounts.
• Develop and execute account strategies for high-priority targets in collaboration with regional sales managers, field sales, and channel partners.
• Own direct sales opportunities from prospecting through close, including lead qualification, discovery, solution development, proposal support, and negotiation.
