Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in shop, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or general labor preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist shop technicians with daily tasks and projects.
• Organize and maintain shop tools, equipment, and materials.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Clean and maintain work areas to ensure safety.
• Assist with inventory counts and stocking supplies.
• Safely operate basic hand and power tools.
• Prepare materials for fabrication, assembly, and repair projects.
• Follow company safety procedures and workplace policies.
• Perform general labor duties and other tasks as assigned.

Industrial Shop Tech / Entry-Level Shop Assistant

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hr

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Industrial Shop Tech / Entry-Level Shop Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in an industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication environment. The Shop Assistant will support daily operations by assisting technicians, preparing materials, maintaining an organized work area, and helping ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist shop technicians with daily tasks and projects
• Organize and maintain shop tools, equipment, and materials
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
• Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe work environment
• Assist with inventory counts and stocking supplies
