Job summary

Nippon Dynawave Packaging is seeking a Security & Emergency Preparedness Manager to lead the site’s security program at our Longview, WA facility. The role focuses on MTSA compliance, emergency planning, and safety leadership to protect employees and assets.

The candidate will build readiness, coordinate responses, and drive investigations while partnering with operations, maintenance, and external agencies to strengthen overall resilience and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial security or emergency management.
• Experience leading emergency preparedness initiatives or security programs.
• Experience supervising contract or internal personnel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Experience as Facility Security Officer under MTSA preferred.
• Familiarity with ICS and emergency response programs.
• Industrial settings experience preferred (pulp & paper, manufacturing, maritime).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Facility Security Officer (FSO) and ensure MTSA compliance.
• Develop and update the Facility Security Plan.
• Coordinate security assessments, drills, audits, and inspections.
• Lead investigations into theft, breaches, and workplace violence.
• Manage access control, badging, and visitor management.
• Lead emergency drills and ICS integration.
• Prepare security and preparedness reports and budgets.
• Coordinate with Coast Guard and law enforcement.
