Job summary

Nippon Dynawave Packaging is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor/Planner in Longview, WA to oversee planning, scheduling, and frontline leadership for maintenance teams. The role focuses on safe, reliable operations and timely outage planning.

You’ll manage backlogs, develop the workforce, and coordinate with operations and engineering to meet production goals. Strong MS Project and CMMS skills are required.

Qualifications

• Industrial safety procedures and OSHA compliant practices.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Ability to read drawings and estimate time/materials.
• Proficiency with MS Project and CMMS systems (SAP/MAPCON/MAXIMO).
• Pulp and paper/chemical processing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly work across operations, maintenance, engineering and contractors.
• Lead scheduling and outage planning to ensure readiness.
• Manage maintenance backlogs for asset reliability.
• Develop a skilled, safety-focused maintenance team.
• Coordinate with trades and supervise during outages.
