Qualifications

• Experience in scale installation, calibration, and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of standards (ISO 9001, NIST Handbook 44) is a plus.
• Proficiency with calibration and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up industrial, laboratory, and commercial scales.
• Perform calibration procedures and adjust settings for precision.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair scales to minimize downtime.
• Inspect scales for wear and functionality; address issues with load cells and displays.
• Keep detailed service and calibration records and certificates.
• Communicate with clients about service requirements and estimates.
• Follow safety protocols around heavy equipment and electrical components.
• Ensure scales meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Track tools, parts, and equipment; replenish supplies as needed.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and scale technology.
