Qualifications

• Experience in scale installation, calibration, and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and NIST Handbook 44.
• Proficiency with calibration and measurement equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Scale Installation: Properly install and set up scales per manufacturer specs.
• Calibration: Perform calibration procedures and adjust settings for precision.
• Maintenance and Repair: Routine maintenance and prompt repair of scales.
• Inspection: Inspect scales for wear and functionality; address issues with components.
• Documentation: Maintain service and calibration records and certificates.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate requirements, estimates, and technical questions professionally.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols around heavy equipment and electrical components.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure serviced scales meet standards.
• Inventory Management: Track tools and parts; replenish supplies.
• Training: Stay updated on industry best practices and scale tech advancements.
