Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an Industrial Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory across the United States. You will own the territory, inherit an existing customer base, and drive new business growth while representing a broad portfolio of compressed air equipment and system solutions.

You’ll work closely with customers to understand their applications, provide the right technical solution, and collaborate with internal resources to deliver tailored system solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in industrial or technical sales.
• Compressed air sales experience strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow an existing territory.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-facing skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established sales territory and existing customer base.
• Develop new business by targeting competitive accounts and identifying new opportunities.
• Spend the majority of your time in the field meeting with customers and prospects.
• Sell compressed air equipment, systems, and related solutions into industrial customers.
• Work with internal technical resources to develop customer-specific system solutions.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and become a trusted technical resource.
• Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to achieve sales, margin, and market-share targets.
• Maintain consistent prospecting, customer engagement, and sales activity.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within the CRM.
