Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Sales Representative (training and technology) based in Springfield, OH. You will develop strategies to secure new business by integrating advanced technology with industrial cranes, while traveling to clients and distributors to promote solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical and industrial sales experience required.
• Education in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or technology preferred.
• Strong PC/technology skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.
• Ability to travel 30–50% of the time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team or autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for new business opportunities, focusing on technology integration with industrial cranes.
• Build and maintain relationships with service distributors and customers.
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and technical consultations.
• Respond to RFPs, bids, and large-scale project opportunities in rigging and lifting solutions.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and teams to grow business and drive industry technology adoption.
• Provide training to distributors and end users on fieldbus hardware, software, and data integration.
