Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a safety professional to develop and implement comprehensive safety programs at the Bangor, WA site supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile program.

The role requires strong knowledge of NFPA standards, OSHA/EPA regulations, and experience in conducting risk assessments, training, and incident investigations to ensure a high level of employee safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of explosive safety and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience writing safety policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA/EPA regulations and U.S. Navy ESH requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs to prevent unsafe conditions.
• Inspect and evaluate facilities and equipment for safety compliance.
• Investigate industrial incidents to minimize recurrence and report findings.
• Prepare risk assessments and training to improve environmental, health, and safety practices.
