Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS seeks an Environmental Safety and Health Engineer to support industrial hygiene programs and the ESH management system across the site. You will deliver comprehensive ESH services, cover program areas such as electrical safety, fall protection, and hazard communication, and collaborate with teams to drive compliance.

Candidates hold a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, OSHA/EPA knowledge, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 2+ years of professional experience or equivalent experience
• Experience with OSHA, safety and health standards, EPA, state and local environmental regulations and programs
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse population and collaborate with peers and leadership
• Minimum requirements include, but not limited to, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. and pushing/pulling of up to 75 lbs. and working from elevated platforms such as ladders as they relate to investigations and root cause analysis and corrective actions
• U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive environmental, safety and health services to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.
• Other focus program areas may include Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout, Ergonomics, Confined Spaces, Contractor Safety, Cranes/Slings/Hoists, Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, Ladder Safety, Machine Guarding, Aerial Lifts, Powered Industrial Trucks, Respiratory Protection, Industrial Hygiene, Injury Management, and Raised Platforms & Scaffolding.
• Represent the organization at various levels, effectively conveying the company's strategy and objectives.
• Offer leadership and team support to ESH department members.
