Job summary

Sure Steel Inc. is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager to lead our safety program and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction projects. The role requires building strategic plans, policies, and training, while driving continuous improvement and a culture of safety.

You will oversee incident investigations, stakeholder communications, and regulatory adherence, collaborating with leadership and teams to reduce hazards and protect workers on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements; CSP/CIH/CHMM preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic safety plans aligned with company objectives.
• Lead policy development, audits, and regulatory compliance across projects.
• Oversee training programs for employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions.
• Engage stakeholders and communicate safety performance and initiatives.
