Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking a technically skilled Technical Sales Manager in Alabama to grow business opportunities, build lasting customer relationships, and deliver reliability solutions for industrial facilities. You will conduct customer discovery, onsite assessments, and product demonstrations, while managing proposals, forecasts, and the sales cycle.

Expect 50–75% travel and a base salary with incentive potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least five years in industrial maintenance, reliability, predictive maintenance, or related plant operations.
• Familiarity with preventive/predictive maintenance and rotating equipment.
• Ability to translate technical recommendations into measurable operational and financial benefits.
• Experience with technical sales, consultative selling, or business development in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory plans to increase sales and expand customer accounts.
• Identify new opportunities, reconnect with inactive accounts, and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Conduct customer discovery, onsite assessments, and product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals and business cases showing potential savings and improved asset performance.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with CRM updates and forecasts.
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory (50–75%).
