Tyson Foods Amherst Plant in Amherst, OH is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician for 1st shift. This role performs skilled work in operation, maintenance, and repair of ammonia refrigeration systems and related plant facilities to support safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and keeping accurate logs.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program/HVAC-R program.
• Demonstrate CIRO.CARO certification or ammonia system experience if training is not present.
• Prior boiler, ammonia and HVAC exposure is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate and maintain the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Perform electrical and mechanical preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Complete daily log sheets and report unsafe conditions or mechanical concerns.
• Support food safety programs, GMP policies, and safety procedures.
