Job summary
Tyson Foods in Zeeland, MI is seeking Maintenance and Refrigeration Technicians to keep our processing lines running safely and efficiently. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems on site.
You will use CMMS to log actions, prioritize repairs, and promote a safe, compliant work environment. This role offers hands-on growth in a fast-paced plant setting with strong teamwork.
Qualifications
- 1 year of industrial maintenance experience preferred or a diploma/technical schooling in lieu.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Basic math skills and ability to log information in CMMS.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and tolerate varying plant temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance support to keep equipment safe and running.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Minimize downtime through proactive upkeep and cross-functional collaboration.
