Job summary

Turner Industries is actively seeking a Personnel Coordinator / Recruiter for our Whiting, IN area. The role entails managing the full recruiting and onboarding cycle, partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, and guiding applicants through a smooth hiring process.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (HR/Business) or equivalent experience, 2–4 years in HR recruiting, and strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and HRIS/ATS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered
• 2-4 years of related HR recruiting experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial setting
• Experience recruiting both hourly production staff and salaried professionals
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies
• Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms and recruitment tools
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence and build relationships
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple requisitions
• Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to health or safety at workplace
