Job summary

Turner Industries—an industrial contractor—seeks a Personnel Coordinator / Recruiter in the Whiting, IN area. You will manage end-to-end recruiting and onboarding, partner with hiring managers, source candidates through multiple channels, and guide applicants to a smooth hiring process.

The role requires a background in HR with 2–4 years’ related experience, familiarity with HRIS/ATS tools, and strong communication and organizational skills. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in HR/related field.
• 2–4 years of HR experience in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Experience recruiting both hourly production staff and salaried professionals.
• Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and build relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple requisitions.
• Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to health or safety.
