Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Hammond, IN is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotation process from receipt to submission. You will liaise with Graybar sales, customer service, customers and manufacturers to gathering details and prepare accurate, profitable quotes.

The role requires customer service skills, meeting deadlines, and knowledge of SAP and Excel. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an hourly wage of $19.00 to $22.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quotations or pricing roles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with SAP and Excel formulas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to price differences for complete comparisons
