Job summary

Flowserve US Inc. is seeking a hands-on Industrial Precision Assembler to disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild large pumps and rotating equipment.

You will read engineering drawings, work with overhead cranes and rigging, and perform precise measurements to ensure everything meets specifications. The role requires 3+ years in industrial mechanical assembly or pump repair, lifting large components, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with large industrial pumps or rotating equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and repair specifications.
• Experience operating cranes, rigging equipment, and lifting devices.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble large pumps and rotating equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly prints, repair specs, and work instructions.
• Use overhead cranes, rigging, and lifting devices to move large components safely.
• Perform mechanical assembly and rebuilds of bearings, shafts, seals, housings, couplings, and impellers.
• Inspect with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and dial indicators.
• Troubleshoot failures and identify components needing repair or replacement.
• Conduct pressure and functional tests and ensure parts meet specs.
• Operate hydraulic torque tools and other maintenance equipment.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and inspection records.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures and support continuous improvement.
