Job summary
Voigt-Abernathy Co. is seeking a Sales Engineer to support customers in Oklahoma with technical guidance on pumps, filtration, and process equipment.
The role requires on-site presence in Oklahoma City or Tulsa, with travel across Oklahoma and parts of West/Northwest Texas to grow sales and improve market coverage. Responsibilities include technical presentations, equipment recommendations, and coordinating quotes with service centers.
Qualifications
- Sales Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service skills are required.
- Technical Support and Communication skills are required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in industrial equipment sales is a plus.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field a plus.
Responsibilities
- Learn the features and benefits of our product lines and apply them to customer needs.
- Set up appointments and conduct technical presentations to customers or small groups.
- Organize and email customer inquiries to service centers for quoting.
- Close orders and drive sales penetration in Oklahoma and parts of TX.
- Travel as required, with overnight stays periodically.
