Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to guide complex industrial projects from planning through delivery in Charlotte, NC. The role requires coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and customers to keep timelines, budgets, and quality on track.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of PM experience in industrial settings, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multi-department projects with forecast-informed cost control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management or related experience.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, construction, equipment, or a technical environment.
• Experience coordinating multiple departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, cost control, and financial performance.
• Ability to interpret drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from planning through execution, delivery, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and action plans.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Monitor costs, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Manage scope and ensure changes are reviewed before work begins.
• Review drawings and specifications to support execution.
• Track progress, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules.
• Identify risks affecting timelines, costs, or quality.
• Develop practical solutions to prevent delays.
• Communicate status, risks, and next steps to customers and leadership.
• Establish ownership of action items and deadlines.
• Maintain schedules, forecasts, and project records.
• Identify opportunities to improve execution and processes.
