McGough Group in Roseville, MN is seeking an Industrial Assistant Project Manager to support project management across multiple industrial sectors. The role involves errands, CPM scheduling, subcontractor coordination and extensive travel for out-of-town assignments up to 12–24 months.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with owners and design partners, and help manage procurement, documentation, and safety processes on diverse projects.

Formación

• Construction Management or related degree.
• 2 years minimum related experience, including self-perform.
• Estimating experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Thorough and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints.
• Self-starter and motivated.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite of tools.

Responsabilidades

• Pursuit, Preconstruction and Business Development: assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements.
• Research prospective clients and participate in preconstruction meetings.
• Prepare required documentation for QA/QC page turn session.
• McGough Self-Performed Work: understand quantity take-offs, schedule CPMs.
• Estimating & Bidding: assist with subcontractor procurement and bid analysis.
• Scheduling: assist CPM scheduling, participate in Last Planner and weekly work planning.
• Project Documentation: review drawings, draft RFIs, manage submittals, BIM coordination.
• Subcontract Management: review change requests and invoices.
• Cost Control: track labor costs and assist with cost coding and reporting.
• Project Meetings & Safety: attend meetings, draft minutes, ensure safety compliance.
