McGough in Minnesota is seeking an Industrial Assistant Project Manager to support all project aspects, mentor project engineers, and help oversee work with senior staff on diverse industrial sectors. The role involves pursuing opportunities, preconstruction planning, estimating support, CPM scheduling, cost control, and coordinating with owners, design partners, subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Construction Management or related degree.
• 2 years minimum of related experience, including experience with self-perform capabilities.
• Estimating experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Thorough and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints.
• Self-starter and motivated.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite of tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements.
• Research prospective clients.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings.
• Prepare required documentation for QA/QC page turn session.
• Assist with CPM scheduling and BIM coordination meetings.
• Manage the shop drawings/submittals review process.
