Job summary

McGough in Roseville, MN is seeking an Industrial Superintendent to lead field operations on complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. Travel is required across regional jobsites and offices, coordinating with Project Management, trades, and inspectors.

The role emphasizes Lean methodologies, safety leadership, schedule optimization, and client relationships. Requires OSHA 30, 5–8 years of experience, and a construction-related degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-8 years of construction-related experience.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Two or four-year degree in construction related field preferred.
• Bilingual with the ability to communicate in both Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Pre-Construction related tasks including building crisis management plan, site logistics plan, site specific rules and regulations, and safety plan.
• Manage and oversee all McGough field staff, subcontractors and suppliers engaged in assigned projects (daily huddles, job site coordination, delivery of materials).
• Manage and implement the project schedule as designed and adjust as necessary; work with Project Management to keep schedule updated.
• Develop and manage weekly work plans and look-ahead schedules.
• Work with Project Management on subcontractor selection, RFIs, procurement of materials, tools and equipment.
• Ensure alignment of budget with Project Management and closeout tasks (punchlists, commissioning, owner training).
