Job summary

McGough Construction CO, LLC is seeking an Industrial Assistant Project Manager to support with pursuit, preconstruction, scheduling (CPM), and project documentation across various industrial sectors. The role involves mentoring engineers, coordinating with owners and subcontractors, and traveling for up to 12–24 months.

The candidate should have a related degree and at least two years of experience, including self-perform knowledge, strong communication, and proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Required: Construction Management or related degree.
• Minimum 2 years related experience, including experience with self-perform capabilities.
• Experience in estimating.
• Strong communication skills.
• Thorough and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints.
• Self-starter and motivated.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pursuit, preconstruction and business development tasks.
• Help create and maintain CPM schedules and participate in Last Planner and weekly work planning.
• Review drawings and specifications, draft RFIs, and manage shop drawings/submittals.
• Support subcontract management, cost control and procurement processes.
• Assist in project meetings, documentation, and safety activities.
