Job summary

McGough is seeking an Industrial EPC Project Manager in Minnesota to lead complex industrial projects from design through turnover. You will own EPC execution, manage budgets, risks, and interfaces among engineering, procurement, and construction teams, while mentoring junior staff.

Key qualifications include 5+ years in EPC/industrial PM, strong contracts knowledge, and proficiency in P6, Bluebeam, Acrobat, Excel, and MS Office. Travel to multiple sites is expected as projects require.

Qualifications

• 5+ years EPC or Industrial project management experience.
• Proven success in multi-discipline engineering deliverables.
• Experience leading self-perform and unionized labor projects.
• Strong understanding of lump sum and cost-plus EPC contracts.
• Ability to assess technical, commercial, and schedule risks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in P6, Bluebeam, Acrobat, Excel, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide total project ownership across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Develop and maintain EPC execution plan, risk register, and delivery strategy.
• Lead engineering management and coordination across disciplines.
• Oversee procurement planning, vendor qualification, and subcontracting.
• Coordinate design to field handoff and construction readiness.
• Manage project cost, schedule, safety, and quality on-site.
• Prepare monthly status reports and cost performance analyses.
• Mentor Assistant PMs and project engineers.
