Job summary

Cheshire Correctional Institution is seeking a Correctional Industries Supervisor 2 to oversee License Plate, Plastic Bag, and Sign Shops. You will coordinate with Sales, manage vendors, and supervise staff and inmates in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong production planning, supervisory skills, and experience with inmate work programs. Candidates should be prepared for a Monday–Friday schedule and related security responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for production output.
• Two (2) years of supervisory or administrative capacity in manufacturing (equivalent to Correctional Industries Supervisor 1).
• Experience coordinating maintenance and repairs of manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, oversee and review staff work.
• Maintain production and inventory records and prepare reports.
• Direct training of subordinates and inmates; ensure safety and security of equipment.
