Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Process Operator to join our Systech Paulding, OH team. The role requires unloading and processing materials, operating forklifts and heavy equipment, and following strict safety and waste-handling procedures.

You will work outdoors and in process buildings, with exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise, and must wear PPE and pass fit tests. A HS diploma and 1 year in manufacturing are required; valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Work outside and in process buildings with exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must wear PPE and pass fit tests (may include Tyvek suits, safety glasses, respirators).

Responsibilities

• Unload and process material following established procedures. Proficient in forklift or other mobile equipment.
• Follow Systech and site safety policies and permits for handling waste.
• Perform routine maintenance on designated equipment as requested.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; stay well organized.
• Operate heavy equipment such as bobcat, track mobile, stinger and remote-controlled crane.
• Inspect and recondition customer portable Fuel Quality Waste tanks.
• Assure proper PPE use and safety compliance; promote safety with site employees.
• Assist in other areas to meet site priorities and emergencies.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies across work areas.
