Saft is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to support manufacturing processes and documentation. You will coordinate procedures across departments, maintain BOM data, and contribute to process design, development, and training material creation.

Responsibilities include audits, data collection for process changes, and collaboration with engineers to implement improvements. Strong organization, CAD basics, and lean thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering.
• 2+ years in an industrial manufacturing engineering setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for complex equipment.
• Basic CAD knowledge.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts, SPC and capability analysis.
• Strong problem solving, attention to detail, organization and communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform audits on manufacturing processes.
• Assist engineers with identifying and remediating chronic failure modes.
• Assist with process improvements in R&I, Receiving and Procurement.
• Collect data to support process/equipment changes.
• Document new processes and training materials to ensure robust manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and apply new system processes.
• Prepare training material for the 210 process.
• Maintain engineering documentation and cross-department procedures.
• Support BOM, Windchill, QAD and 210 process development of fixtures and components.
• Provide receiving and inspection support.
