Job summary

Saft is seeking an experienced Industrial Facilities Technician I to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex systems in an industrial setting, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• Experience in an industrial facility, mechanical or maintenance setting favored.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools; ability to read technical manuals/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations.
• Support scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, lighting, and plumbing issues under supervision.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repair tasks.
• Document work performed using CMMS and maintain organized work areas.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams; assist with equipment installation and repair (HVAC, motors, lighting).
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities.
