Job summary

Saft is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to advance our products and applications. The role involves preparing and maintaining engineering documentation, coordinating procedures across departments, and working with BOMs and the ERP system.

You will assist in designing and implementing new processes, developing training materials, and supporting multiple engineering tasks. The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in an industrial setting,

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering techncial role.
• 2+ years relevant experience in industrial manufacturing engineering.
• Strong mechanical aptitude relating to complex equipment and components.
• Basic CAD knowledge.
• Application of lean manufacturing concepts.
• SPC and capability analysis.
• Ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and coordinate procedures across departments.
• Work with BOMs and ERP systems.
• Analyze, design, develop and implement new or existing processes.
• Assist in design, development, and training materials.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
• Create training materials for the 210 process and maintain documentation.
• Maintain ESS Document management system and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Provide BOM support and assist with Windchill and QAD in fixture development.
