Job summary

RTX is seeking an Associate Director for the Capacity Growth Office, Digital Automation, to drive operational excellence across manufacturing and supply chain. The role focuses on leveraging digital twins, analytics, and Lean/Six Sigma to optimize end-to-end value streams.

The position is remote with up to 50% travel to US sites (AZ, TX, MA, AL). It requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance TS/SCI.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of experience in manufacturing/supply chain transformations.
• Experience leading digital transformations in manufacturing/supply chain environments.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capacity models and real-time monitoring systems.
• Build digital twins and simulation environments for planning.
• Lead lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Map end-to-end value streams and optimize flows.
• Collaborate with data teams to build data pipelines and dashboards.
• Implement advanced planning and scheduling tools for demand and capacity alignment.
• Establish control room/tower for real-time visibility.
• Lead NPI and expansion support for new products.
