Job summary

RTX is seeking an Associate Director, Business in its Industrial & Process Engineering Digital Technology leadership team. The role focuses on driving operational excellence and digital transformation across end-to-end value streams in manufacturing and supply chain. Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years, or an Advanced Degree with 10+ years experience.
• Experience leading digital transformations in manufacturing and supply chain environments.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Capacity planning, modeling, and real-time monitoring of capacity.
• Build and deploy digital twins and simulation environments for scenario planning.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Lead end-to-end value stream design, flow, and optimization across plants.
• Collaborate with data teams to architect data pipelines, dashboards, and predictive models.
• Implement advanced planning and scheduling tools to align demand, capacity, and resources.
• Develop and operate a control room or control tower for real-time visibility.
• Lead NPI and expansion support to scale manufacturing and supply chain.
• Oversee capacity growth initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain.
