Job summary

Hyrum City seeks an experienced administrator to manage the Industrial Pretreatment Program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting wastewater treatment operations through laboratory analyses.

You will work with the Water Reclamation Manager and a consulting firm to develop, implement, and maintain program procedures, identify industrial users, craft permits and monitoring schedules, and provide regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the pretreatment program in line with regulatory requirements.
• Identify, survey, and classify industrial users; develop and manage permits and monitoring schedules.
• Assist with inspection, sampling, compliance, and enforcement procedures.
• Coordinate with Water Reclamation Manager to ensure program development meets state and federal requirements.
