Job summary

ALCOSAN is seeking a Sampling and Compliance Supervisor to lead industrial pretreatment compliance programs including the FOG and High-Strength Surcharge programs. The role oversees data management, reporting for 100+ industrial users, and coordination of sampling activities at the treatment plant and with industrial customers.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a natural or applied science, at least two years of environmental compliance or sewage treatment experience with supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Natural or Applied Sciences or related field.
• Two years of Environmental Compliance or Sewage Treatment experience including supervisory or project management experience with an emphasis on informational database systems.
• Possess or ability to obtain Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise industrial pretreatment compliance within Authority regulations.
• Manage data analysis and reporting for 100+ industrial users.
• Draft Industrial Discharge Permits for review and issuance by the Manager of Industrial Waste.
• Coordinate sampling activities and provide on-site supervision of samplers and investigators.
• Serve as primary point-of-contact for industry questions regarding Pretreatment, FOG, and High-Strength Surcharge programs.
